Why are you passionate about what you teach 

I come from a more rural background and discovered yoga, pilates and barre when I moved to Sydney a decade ago as a wide-eyed uni student – who found herself thrown into the chaos of study, work and city life. What started simply as exercise became my lifeline to maintaining emotional and mental health.  Moving mindfully brings me peace, joy and power in a way nothing else does, and I’m passionate about helping others discover how mindful movement can connect them deeper to themselves, too.

 

How would you describe your classes

I love knowing the how’s and why’s of things, so expect to hear lots of chat about alignment, technique and muscle patterning to help you squeeze every drop of goodness out of class. I always want people to find freedom in their practice so you’ll always find options and levels to suit you. My goal is that you’ll leave class feeling challenged but energised, a sense of achievement and calm, but most of all – so glad you came!

 

Your favourite holiday destination 

My family has spent holidays on NSW’s South Coast since before I can remember, so that region will always have my heart. But if can choose, I’d head to the Mediterranean in a heartbeat.

 

Tell us something you love to do outside of the studio 

Being in nature – even if that’s in the middle of the city! When I’m not at the studio you’ll probably find me in Sydney Park, patting other people’s dogs and soaking up the sunshine.

 

What inspires you 

Fearless dreamers. I’m inspired by other people who make ambitious plans and work hard to achieve them – and as a result, are living their best life.
